A Yangon favourite gets a new look and a new menu.

Union has been at the forefront of the restaurant and bar scene in Myanmar since it opened 3 years ago. With Executive Chef Reuben Gould, formerly one of Marco Pierre White’s (3 Michelin Stars) top chefs, at the helm, Union Bar and Grill has always pushed the boundaries of the dining experience here in Myanmar and we believe our new menus will help take this to another level completely.

The re-design (by British Interior designer Katherine East) incorporates a show kitchen where you will see Reuben and his team manning two Kamadoe Joe Smokers, a charcoal grill and a wood fired pizza oven. With award winning Australian and American grain-fed and grass fed beef, supplied by Marbled Black, diners can expect some exciting cuts straight from the charcoal grill, and some deep and complex flavours from slow smoking cooking techniques for everything between 4 and 72hrs.

Alongside our smoked and grilled items, our new menu also boasts an extensive selection of burgers and hot-dogs, all served in homemade brioche buns and rolls, many of which incorporate low and slow smoking/cooking techniques in their preparation for maximum flavour.

Proper wood-fired pizza¹s, courtesy of Parami Pizza, will also be available at Union and will be available for delivery, free of charge, to the downtown area in less than 30 minutes from ordering.

Our new cocktail menu has been developed with the secretive experts from 28 Hong Kong street in Singapore and non-drinkers will also enjoy the new additions to our drinks menu including Oreo cookie and salted caramel milk shakes, served in steel shakers, as well as a variety of freshly made juices and smoothies.

Our beer offering has also been expanded to include 6 beers on tap with more specials to come…
